At the turn of the 20th century it becomes “The Spruces” due to the unique stand of Norway Spruces and the 200 yr old redwood planted by the Metcalfs, with a pine cone straight from the Redwood Forest! Most recently this remarkable place served as a Dressage Farm owned by Mary Dana Prescott. She named it Cloverfield.
